18.6.2023 – Maya Weug had excellents starts in Hungaroring – Norwegian rookie driver Martinius Stenshorne leads the series by 27 points

Finnish KIC Motorsport and its’ drivers Maya Weug and Oleksandr Partyshev weren’t able to reach their goals in third round of Formula Regional by Alpine European Championship series which was driven in circuit of Hungaroring. However a small comfort in a difficult racing weekend was excellent starts which were delivered by Ferrari Academy driver Maya Weug in both races.

For Saturdays race Weug started in P24 and during first lap he had collect four positions. For Sundays race he started P33 and was able again to pass four fellow competitors in first lap. However Saturdays P19 and Sundays P25 were far away from the desired results of securing top-10 positions in overall classifications.0

Ukraine Oleksandr Partyshev collect P24 in Saturday and was forced to retire in Sunday after hiting a fellow competitor in first corner of the lap.

Several safety cars and yellow flags denied intense 30 minute races. However Norwegian rookie driver Martinnius Stenshorne had a superb weekend as he won both races and secured points to take the leadership of the series by 27 points as there are still 14 rounds to be driven. Next two races are to be driven in legendary Belgian circuit of SPA-Francorchamps at final weekend of June.
