3RD RACING WEEKEND OF SEASON 2020: RED BULL RING

Patrick Pasma rise into 4th position in overall standings!

13.9.2020 – KIC Motorsport had a demanding weekend at austrian Red Bull Ring – Patrick Pasma in 4th position in series standings

For a second year in a row the Finnish KIC Motorsport team competes in Formula Regional European Championship series. In third weekend of season 2020, which was driven in austrian Spielberg circuit of Red Bull Ring, team drivers Patrick Pasma collect good points which helpt him to rise into 4th place in overall standings as there are still 15 rounds to be driven.

In fast-paced events Konsta Lappalainen was hit by a fellow competitor and after experiencing a retirement he drove 7th and 11th fastest pace. Series german debytant Nico Göhler finished sixth fastest before runing into troubles. After four intense racing weekends Konsta Lappalainen is in 8th and Göhler 13th position in standings as now team travels to italian circuit of Mugello.

– For the whole season we’ve been a bit slower than our best rival Prema Powerteam. Now we’ve done lots of work to reduce the gap and therefore in Mugello our goals are set to challenge Prema Powerteam and catch podiums. In 30 minute events the gaps are very narrow and that is what we expect to encounter in next rounds, team manager Peter Flythström tells.
