30.9.2024 – KIC Motorsport drivers collect lots of experience from Barcelona – Rafael Camara secured the Championship title of Formula Regional Europe

In penultimate round of Formula Regional by Alpine, which was driven in Iberian circuit of Barcelona, brazilian driver Rafael Camara secured the drivers title of the series and italian Prema Racing won the teams title. KIC Motorsport three drivers, thai Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi, vietnamize Hoang Dat Sawer and italian Enzo Scionti collect postions 23rd to 28th in both 30 minute events.

The highly intense racing weekend was a big disapointment also for Flying Finn Tuukka Taponen who in Saturdays race collect podium but was crashed out in Sundays race. As australian James Wharton drove two victories, he rised into Silver position in drivers Championship and dropped Taponen into bronze medal position as there are Still one meeting and two 30 minute events to be driven. Final round of the series is to be driven in final weekend of October at legendary Italian circuit of Monza, which is also known as Temple of Speed.
